Receive New Year's in Style. Make yourself a Crown royal enough for a Queen!

All right...you are probably over the Christmas and shopping rush, aren't you? You are now getting ready for New Year's...thinking what to wear. The truth is...that I am still making crowns...Yes, I am! And I love making myself one every year to receive the New Year in style. This year, I want to share a simple template for you to make your own.

But instead of posting the instructions or a tutorial, I want you to get creative visiting two crown tutorials and using things from both. Did you realize that they were available here on my blog? One is here and the other one here. Because I know how much fun you will have making your own crown, I thought you might also enjoy making embellishments for it.

How about making some of these: crepe paper dahlias or rosettes, paper pleat pinwheels. Enjoy!
