Do you get flowers in Valentine's Day? Let's preserve them forever more...

It's the end of the month and I will start sharing with you some Valentine's Day projects I have been working on...Do you get flowers for Valentine's Day? What do you do with them? Let's preserve them forever more!
I really, really treasure my flowers and want to keep them for a long, long time, which I mentioned on a prior post and also mentioned how everything started... Drying flowers with silicone has been a new addictive technique. It's clean, it's fast and flowers turn out perfect!

My experiment started with medium to small roses right from my local florist. I have been drying quite a few bouquets and I am building a nice collection of them to use on my projects. These rose buds are about 1" 1/2 and I thought they would make a sweet heart...like this one above. Isn't it cute enough to turn it into a project? A new tutorial perhaps...soon...

You can also press these buds...I have wrote this article if you want to try the basics...although roses require a little extra preparation {you can learn the technique in my upcoming workshop}.
What are you working on inspired by the Season of Love?

Stay tuned for more Valentine's Day projects!
