Valentine's Day Envelope of Kisses Tutorial. Easy, fun and sweet!

It was fun showing Val to make a heart envelope for the Kisses! Here is the project I just did live at Daytime Toronto this morning as I promised. Do you love chocolate and romance? Do you have a little crush...or big crush on someone? How about someone in your office...work? Then you will love my Valentine's Day Envelope of Kisses Tutorial!

This is a nice and simple project to make for those who started dating and want to express some early sentiments...but not just yet "too intensely"...or those who have a crush and want that special person to know about it...You will learn how to send the message or messages around...romantic things you might want to express nicely wrapped...It's affordable, easy enough to make at work {if you have to} and so very SWEET! And remember that what really matters is the thought...but if you also have a great gift to go with this project, congratulations!

These are actually two projects in one tutorial. You will make pretty envelopes and learn how to attach your own messages to the "kisses". Let's get started!

MATERIALS:

Hershey kisses {rose & pink}
Scrapbooking paper sheets {flower background}
Pencil
Printing paper
Printer
Computer
Word Processing Program
Ribbon
Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
Craft Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:

Adding special love messages to your Hershey kisses.

1- Select and print your love quotes in about 3mm wide paper strips.
2- Using your craft scissors cut your love quotes like in the image above.
3- Slightly open the foil of your Hershey kisses and remove the printed paper strips.
4- Replace them with your cut out love quotes.
5- Wrap your Hershey kisses back.

TIP: I chose pink and red Hershey kisses because of their colour meaning. Pink means sweetness...it could be for a young or new love. And red means passion!

Making a heart envelope for your Hershey kisses.

1- Using a pencil draw your heart template on a recycled cardboard piece.
2- Using your craft scissors cut out your heart template.
3- Draw two hearts on a scrapbooking paper sheet.

TIP: If you are at the office or work you can use any kind of coloured paper including magazines!
4- Using your glue gun adhere them together right up to the middle.
5- Decide how many Hershey kisses you want to put inside.
6- You can place about five.
7- Using your craft scissors cut a piece of ribbon to make your envelope handle.
8- Using your glue gun adhere one tip inside of the heart envelope on the side and then repeat the same step  on the other side.
9- Using your computer and a Word Processing Program type Valentine's Day greetings and make a banner.
TIP: You can also make a banner and add a hand written message.

10- Using your glue gun add a drop on each end of the banner.
11-Adhere it to your heart envelope.
12- Fill your heart envelope with Hershey kisses.

Your Valentine's Day Envelope of Kisses is ready! How about hanging it on a cubicle for your "office crush"...you can also nicely present it to your date that day...Enjoy!
