You touch my Heart Valentine's Day Tee Tutorial.

Once again inspired by modern paintings and rock music I have made the You Touch my Heart Valentine's Day Tee. It's all about painting with fabric, experiencing colours, stamping with flowers, adding shine with crystals, expressing feelings with your own hands and becoming the designer of your own tee. Are you ready to make it with me? Let's get started!

MATERIALS:

Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™ {Matte Grape}
Tulip® 3D Fashion Paints {Matte Real Red}
Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint {Metallic Silver}
Tulip® Value Packs {Punk Princess Starter Set}
Tulip® Glam-It-Up!™ Iron-On Crystals™ {300 Multicolour Pack}
Tulip® Cordless Heat Setting Tool™
Craft Brushes {flat medium}
Scrapbooking Flowers {to use as stamps}
Jar lid {small or medium}

INSTRUCTIONS:

1- You are going to visually divide your tee in two equal sections.
2- Using your craft brush start painting the right side of your tee with Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™ {Matte Grape} add white paint to it from your Tulip® Value Packs {Punk Princess Starter Set} and mix it.
3- You will start developing more hues including new colours like pinks.
4- Using your scrapbooking flowers place them upside down on the painted surface and slightly press on it.
5- Keep "flower stamping" as much as you want.
6- Using your craft brush start painting the left side of your tee using blue paint from your Tulip® Value Packs {Punk Princess Starter Set} and mix it with Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint {Metallic Silver}.
7- You will start developing more hues including new colours like metallic blues.

TIP: Keep in mind that Tulip fabric paint starts drying pretty fast when mixing your colours.

8- Using your Tulip® 3D Fashion Paints {Matte Real Red} apply some to cover the palm of your hand.
9- This is one of your new stamps.
10- Choose a section on your tee and press your hand on it.
11- Using the other hand and slightly press on it to make sure you transfer the paint to the tee.
12- Wash and dry your hand.
13- Repeat step 8 but using white paint from your Tulip® Value Packs {Punk Princess Starter Set} this time.
14- Repeat step 10 and 11.

15- Using white paint from your Tulip® Value Packs {Punk Princess Starter Set} and a crafts brush, add paint to the edge of a jar lid of your choice.
16- This is now one of your stamps.
17- Choose a section and slightly press on your tee stamping circles a few times.

18- Using a craft brush and your Tulip® 3D Fashion Paints {Matte Real Red} paint a heart freehand on your tee.
19- Let all paint dry completely.
20- Find the center of the flowers you stamped on your tee using scrapbooking flowers.

21- Using your Tulip® Cordless Heat Setting Tool™ add crystals of your choice to the centers.
22- Following step 21 add crystal rings to the stamped hands.
23- Following step 21 add crystal peace signs to stamped circles and heart.

If the paint is totally dry your new You Touch my Heart Valentine's Day Tee is ready to wear. Enjoy!

And if you are now feeling like making another tee...I have another design from the past to share with you...

Last year I made the Rock my Heart Valentine's Day Tee and did a live demo on Daytime York. Although the tutorial was posted on my old blog is no longer available you can still watch the clip here.
