As my Card & Paper Making Workshop comes close to its end I am able to show you more of my students work. Believe it or not I actually go into a "paparazzi frenzy" taking as many photos I can of their new pieces before and while they work. I don't want to miss any details...It's such a great surprise for me to find their amazing new work every time we go back to class!

I really think that one of the reasons people sign up for my workshop is because I teach how to embed flowers and leaves into paper pulp. It's such an amazing experience to see how flowers and paper pulp come together to become beautiful pieces of handmade paper! These are bright pink carnations from my collection above and they look fabulous in this handmade paper sheets. Take a closer look at the small pieces combine in the pulp. Isn't it beautiful? I also brought these variegated red and white carnations to press at the class. And here they are below embedded to a handmade paper sheet.

Handmade paper sheets became works of art as they can be used in so many different projects. They can be used to make greeting cards to send your love along with your flowers...and they can even be framed or glue to a canvas as a collage piece. Stay tuned! More photos coming soon!
