Happy Day! It's the end of the week...almost Pink Saturday with an early post to celebrate it! Are you enjoying the weather? How about the beautiful flowers everywhere? And speaking off...I am sharing today a quick tutorial "Flower Water Tube Necklace". Have you ever thought about using those flower water tubes you get with bouquets?

Well, I thought about using them to make myself a necklace and carry around a real fresh flower...yes...hanging from my neck! It's very easy to make and you only need a few things...Come on! Let's get started!

MATERIALS:

Flower Water Tube Necklace
Chain
Jump Rings
Jewelry Pliers
Reamer
Flower {mine is a pink Gerbera}
Craft brush {very thin}
Water
Aleene's® Platinum Bond 7800® All-Purpose Adhesive

INSTRUCTIONS:

1- First thing to do is to find your flower water tube.
2- Your flower water tube has a rubber lid. Remove it.
3- Using a thin craft brush add a few small drops of Aleene's® Platinum Bond 7800® All-Purpose Adhesive to the inside of the lid.
4- Glue it to the flower water tube and press together.
5- Let it bond set at least 2-6 hours . Bond is full-strength after 24-72 hours.
6- Using a reamer, pierce a hole on each side right on the edge.
7- Using your jewelry pliers, pass one jump ring through the hole on each side.
8- Pass your chain through them each and secure using your jewelry pliers.
9- You can add some plastic beads as I did with mine.
10- Fill your flower water tube with water.
11- Cut a pink Gerbera and place inside it.

Your "Flower Water Tube Necklace"  is ready to wear. Enjoy it!

I do not sleep very well either, but it is not from a creative mind. Your brain is going so fast thinking up all the neat things, is why you have trouble sleeping.

Hi Gabriela,
what a great idea a real flower necklace, it reminded me of the daisy chains we used to make as children.
Thank you for noticing my pink hydrangeas and for coming to visit me in Normandy.

Happy Pink Saturday Gabriella Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, are you clever or what? I have to tell you, those little water containers, I have been throwing them out. Am I bad or what? Darn, now I will have to wait to get another one, so I too can make myself a necklace. How pretty it is.

Thank you for the sweetest smelling share today. Have a glorious Pink Saturday and a wonderful weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Hi Gabriela, I love your fresh flower necklace. Easy and so pretty. AND different. Smile.
I do not know the history of the dress. It was probably handmade It is from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. I wish I knew more. It was behind glass at the museum.

Happy PS.
Hugs, Jeanne
