My Flower and Leaf Press book signing and giveaway. The winner is...

Happy Monday! Thank you so much for coming to my first book signing! It was a real pleasure meeting many of you at Barnes & Noble in 4401 Transit Road Suite 800. Clarence, NY. For those of you that could not make it there this past Saturday I hope you got one of the autographed copies left at the store. They were only a few. If you didn't yet here is the phone number: 716-634-1011.

You can also order unsigned copies my Flower and Leaf Press book online.
I have been visiting this Barnes & Noble location for so many years and never imagined that one day I would be signing my books there! Life is full of amazing surprises, isn't it?
It was such a great experience...from setting up the display, talking to customers about my Flower and Leaf Press book, to the actual signing of the book.

A store display tells a story and I wanted mine to do the same. I want it to give a "live" glimpse of the content of my book and to inspire customers with a few finished projects. Here I am unpacking and setting up. Because Barnes & Noble carries a nice selection of crafting supplies I added some to my table. Projects are easy to make using basic tools, great to give as gifts or keep for yourself.

They all got a lot of attention, the book markers, the decoupaged flower press, the canvas...Canvas were perhaps the most popular projects. Customers loved the beauty and simplicity of pressed Fall leaves... and imagined them gracing the walls of their homes.

It's been an extremely busy weekend. I am still editing some more photos of the actual book signings. Stay tuned! You are probably wondering who won a signed copy of my Flower and Leaf Press book during my blog giveaway last Saturday, aren't you? Thanks so much for participating!

Well...I used the random number generator. The winner is Daniella from "Layers of Creativity" blog! They say that if you wish something really, really hard...chances are that you might get it...Check the comment she left here. She said: "First, can I say I really hope I win?"

Hi Gabriela, HPS....late. congratulations on your book signing especially in a store where you have spent so much time. That's so very exciting. I have asked several friends if they wanted to to go with me to NYC for Halloween and so far none can go due to cruises....what bad luck...huh? LOL...still hoping though to see you out here soon. xo
