This 4-week workshop is ideal for artisans, crafters, emerging artists and anyone who wants to learn self-promotional skills to become successful in today’s competitive marketplace.
Week 1: Learn how to craft a powerful statement for exhibits, galleries, promotional materials and website. Press releases: announce and promote your art/event/product and make it “newsworthy.”
Marketing essentials: design an effective business card and turn it into your best marketing tool.
Week 2: Blogs and Websites: promote your art/product/event professionally online. E-mail Etiquette: promote yourself politely and efficiently online.
Week 3: The Online Portfolio: showcase, promote and sell your art/product/event professionally online. What type of portfolio is right for you and your work? Choose a photo hosting site (free and paid options). How can you protect your intellectual property?
Week 4: Social Media: How to build and maintain your social online authority and make social media networks on Facebook,Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. Learn how to create a blog. Learn how to become an expert in your niche and share it with others.
