Fashion is bold and colourful this Spring/Summer, love that! The weather has been a little tricky this year and sandals are "out" already. I have seen quite sophisticated styles in vibrant colours. This off/white sandals I found on a discount rack made the perfect canvas for some fashion art!
They would make a great Mother's Day gift...unique and all made by you...
Let's get to them!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Choose a pair of plain sandals. Mine are off white.
2- Select the the paint colours you want to use for your design.
TIP: It is better to glitter
sandals first.
Place a paper sheet on your working table to catch loose glitter and
place it back in its jar.
4- Sprinkle Tulip® Fashion Glitter™ {Purple Jewel} right on them. Apply two coats.
5- Let dry completely.
6- Choose the paper flowers to adorn your sandals.
TIP: Mine are paper flowers. Scrapbooking left over flowers would also make a great choice!
7- The images above are to guide you in the process and give you colour ideas. Be creative and try to design your very own, are they going to be pink, orange?
8- Work in sections and start painting! Let dry completely and apply a second coat.
9- Once all painting is done and sandals are dry it's time to finish them with decorations.
10- Measure and cut a piece of pipe cleaner to finish the front of each sandal using your Jewelry scissors.
11- Add Liquid Fusion® Clear Urethane Glue to the front of your sandal as shown in the images above. You can apply it right from the bottle or using a craft knife.
12- Let dry completely.
13- It's time now to add the paper flowers to the side of your sandals.
14- All you have to do is to tie them up from the wires making them as invisible as possible.
TIP: Glitter and paint will be completely dry in about four hours depending on the weather of the area you are at.
