What a great long weekend we had! I hope you enjoyed yours as we did. Although it was a stormy one and quite unpredictable as there was a lot of rain at times and then sunny. It was also extremely hot! Honestly, it was really hard to come back to the city...after spending a few days away closer to nature.
Sometimes I really wish I could live out of the city...escape the cement, lights and noise...
Nature came pretty close to our car and I had the chance to take these shots of Bambi!
She came out from a ravine and stared at us for a few minutes. Isn't she beautiful? Baby Bambi also came out and it was super cute! I couldn't capture it with my camera. It run very fast back to it! I guess they were Bambi's orders...

It can be frightening driving in the dusk where there are deer, though, as they can come flying across the road. Glad you got to see her in the daylight and she kept her baby safe.
I think these creatures are beautiful, just not on the road. I'm happy your sighting was a safe one. Ahhhh, sweet photos! Thanks for sharing.

There is something to be said about living in a city, but the country life brings such peace to within and I think we all can use some of that.
I am happy you got to enjoy the best of what mother nature provides with a Bambi and baby too.
