Let's talk about coffee! Are you a fan? We are and like good quality coffee...you guessed...we like the one with a star as part of the name...and we even compost it right at home. You don't believe me?
Yes! Coffee grinds make a fantastic fertilizer. The have: nitrogen, generous amounts of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, copper and other minerals that help plants grow.
Save them and add them to your plants! You can either sprinkle them around on the top of the soil {they will be absorbed even faster every time you water} or mix them with water.
It is coffee grinds magic because since I added some to my plants especially my Geraniums are blooming again at the end of the Summer. Happy dance! It's been an extremely hot {really disliked it} season since June...
My plants are exhausted from the heat and the sun. I really missed my indoor garden show. It is usually an ongoing one...But not this year. Most gardens were done before their time in many different places. Keeping them watered was also a challenge!
Do you garden indoors as well? If so, what blooming plants do you have?
