London Olympics 2012. Closing Ceremony. The Who. My most favorite moment.

It was the end of London Olympics 2012 last night. We were lucky enough to watch it live here in T.O. What an amazing show fabulously choreographed. England's artist selection is so iconic and it was such a joy to see some of them on stage again.

My most favorite moment was at the very end of the show...what a delightful surprise it was! The performance of The Who. How amazing it was to see Roger Daltry {one of the 100 greatest singers of all time} and Pete Townshend together again! I am a HUGE fan of this band and love CLASSIC ROCK!

Did you watch it? What was your favorite moment?

The best Olympics show EVER...I don't care what the
Chinese spent...this was the best show EVER! My personal favorite performance was Annie Lennox...I hope it becomes available in an expanded behing-the-scenes version where each of the costumes is showcased! And the cool cars! I did feel a bit sorry for the folks from Brazil trying to drum up interst for their 2016 event. No way they could even come close...

The whole London Olympics was wonderful - fantastic job well done! My favorite part of the closing is always when they lower the Olympic flag and hand it over to the next nation.

I saw them live, back in the day... Did you see Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs) do that Who song on the back of a scooter? Sounded so like him it was spooky!

This was a great Olympics, and I liked the closing ceremony even more than the opening one.
