I love birthday cakes do you? When I heard that Sandy's {Sandy Camarda} daughter Kayla was about to celebrate her birthday. I thought about sending her one of my ballerina cupcake liner tutu kits to make her own.
At the time I had no idea about the birthday theme. Look at the wonderful cupcake cake Sandy's niece made for her. Pastel Pink! Isn't it amazing? I love the roses and pearls.
Kayla poses very proud and really cute with it. She did an amazing job with the ballerina's tutu!
I really like how she added details to it. We live in a time where most things are pre-made and a desire to get things done...in a rush.
I like how these two very talented ladies {Kayla and Sandy's niece} worked together as a design team for this birthday party. These are my most favorite birthday parties. The ones you make yourself...and celebrate at home...like the old times with friends and family.

Birthday cake is my favourite part of birthdays! I've had jelly bean cakes, Garfield (this one was made by a real cake maker), noughts and crosses.. My brother had a dinosaur once! It's all about the love that goes into making it :)

This brings back memories for me. I was sure that I was going to be a cake decorator when I was a teen. My daughter also enjoys it. It is such a fun hobby. This one is gorgeous!
