"Live life one cupcake at a time" is the motto at the Prairie Girl Bakery in Toronto. The best cupcake bakery in town! I had a fabulous time chatting with the prairie girl, cupcake Queen herself, Jean Blacklock.
Jean grew up in a Saskatchewan farm and has been baking for the longest time. Her passion for baking is contagious! I firmly believe that it's key to the success of her company. Jean believes in offering the best customer service and quality.
The Chocolate Strawberry cupcake above was the first one I tried...can you taste it? I know you want to.
Prairie Girl Bakery has two convenient locations in downtown Toronto. One at the First Canadian Place - Marketplace, Concourse Level 100 King Street West. And the other at 18 King Street facing Victoria Street.
Loved the simplicity on the design and displays of the bakery. I was immediately driven to the colourful logo and flavour signs on the wall. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive and want cupcakes! They come in two sizes and can be packed by the dozen or individually.
